King Valley

There are fantastic walks along the top of the mountain ridge with 360 degree panoramic views of the Myrrhee and King Valleys, some of the best views in Victoria are right here. You might like to explore the natural bushland teeming with deer, wombats, kangaroos lots of native orchids etc. etc.  There are gourmet restaurants and wineries within 20 mins drive of the yurt, or you can explore the King Valley and visit Paradise Falls or Harry Powers lookout or follow the Ned Kelly trail in Glenrowan, or just relax with an icy cold beer and go fishing or tubing along the King River.  If you feel like driving to Bright you can go paragliding or have dinner at sunset on a platform hanging over the edge of the Gorge if that takes your fancy.  Our door old long drop has now been upgraded to a flushing toilet which has the thumbs up from guests.
